DESIGNING A WEB SITE The PROCESS

• Step 2: Research
  
  Once we have received the brief Beechwood will undertake web research into the market sectors in which a client operates. We will look at key words, traffic volumes, competitor's page rankings and review the effectiveness of your current website.
  
  
• Step 3: Aims and Objectives
  
  At this stage a client survey is undertaken to determine web design project, its target audience, branding, perception, and content source, web positioning issues, technical specifications, communication /promotional strategy and goals.
  
  
• Step 4: Plan
  
  From the client survey and research, the website is planned out to incorporate the website goals, audience profile, brand promotion, key message, and search engine optimisation.
  
  Outline creative concepts for the website will be submitted to include; design layout, navigation, outline content sections and define the scope of the project.
  
  Depending on the website promotional campaigns and budgets will be submitted for approval.
  
  
• Step 5: Build
  
  On approval the build stage begins on a development server. Clients can view progress through the client area on this website. The development site runs alongside your existing website ensuring no loss of service.
  
  Once the website is ready to be launched testing is carried out and the client checks the website before final sign off.
  
  
• Step 6: Launch
  
  Once the website has been signed off we will undertake the final stages of domain administration and launch. At this stage Google analytics will be added and the site will be submit the new site to major search engines.
